Juan Capitán is a fashion project based in Montevideo, Uruguay. It emerges from a local context shaped by displaced stories and cultural currents, reworking tradition through a language of structural and narrative tension.

A suspended world where anonymous figures, marked by a violent past, exist without clear resolution. The garments appear detached from the body, reshaped by the erosion of inherited codes, in a world without defined foundations.

The result unfolds as a work without clear acts: an exploration of memory, trauma, and the mechanisms of repair used to overcome them.
